Understand the ethics behind the trend 🤖
This course will delve into the complex and evolving ethical landscape of AI. We will explore the potential benefits and risks associated with AI development and deployment. Through case studies, real-world examples, and philosophical frameworks, students will develop critical thinking skills to analyze and address the ethical challenges posed by AI. This course will combine lectures, discussions, case studies, and hands-on activities to provide a comprehensive understanding of AI ethics.

Workshop deliverable: Students will have the opportunity to develop their own ethical frameworks and written guidelines to guide AI development and use.
Meet the Mentor: Sara B. is a junior at Stanford University (’25), where she is studying Computer Science and Political Science. She’s passionate about the intersection of tech and ethics and plans to attend law school after graduating from Stanford.
