This workshop is designed to empower students with the essential skills and knowledge necessary for success in their pre-college journey. Spanning over five days, our sessions will cover key aspects such as college and career planning, exploring internship and volunteer opportunities, mastering professional email etiquette, and creating an impactful resume. This comprehensive approach aims to equip students with practical tools and insights that will set them on the path to achieving their academic and professional goals.

Drafted Resume: An initial draft of a resume, highlighting mentees' skills and accomplishments
Career Exploration Blueprint: A curated list of 3 internship, volunteer, or extracurricular ideas tailored to each mentee's interests and aligned with their goals
Application Narrative Blueprint: A strategic framework designed to assist in crafting a compelling and well-rounded narrative for college applications
Networking Email Script: A sample outreach email designed for networking purposes

About the Mentor:

Eden H. graduated from Northwestern with a degree in Journalism, Psychology, and Entrepreneurship. While at school, Eden had the opportunity to contribute to NASA research on team dynamics during space missions, leading to her love of technology and current role at Google.
