From Aristotle to AI 🧐
AI has immense power to transform our world. But how can we ensure it's used ethically? In this thought-provoking workshop, high school students will dive deep into the moral implications of artificial intelligence.
Over 5 days, you'll tackle questions at the intersection of AI and philosophy, thinking like Plato, Aristotle, Kant, or Simone de Beauvoir:
- What defines human vs. artificial intelligence? Where do we draw the line?
- How can AI amplify humanity rather than replace it?
- What frameworks should guide ethical AI development?
- How do innovations impact equality? Whose voices need to be at the table?
- What do tech leaders like Elon Musk and Sam Altman have to say about AI's promise and perils? And what about academic leaders at the forefront of this technology like Dr. Fei-Fei Li?
You'll synthesize ideas from philosophers, ethicists, and cutting-edge research. By week's end, you'll propose an ethical framework to help technologists and policymakers build an AI-powered future that uplifts humanity.
Strengthen your critical thinking and communication skills in this thought-provoking workshop. Let's ensure technology puts people first.
